I first used zippers when I was featured in
Preview's Young Designers To Watch for 2008 last year. We were asked to design a couture piece inspired of the country of our choice. I chose Russia - because of it's history - dark and powerful. From then, I was addicted to it and came out with different versions. Although, Some designers also use zippers as their details, which is fun. My take on zippers? I call it
armorial chic. I posted some of the photos I have in my archives.
